Pretty good

We came in after hours so maybe you can avoid that. We were tenting and even with the map in our packet, we had trouble finding the tenting area. No signs for it. But we did eventually! Bathrooms were clean and shower was great. Hot water!

Saw one way too friendly raccoon who crept within four feet of us despite us being threatening and not having food. Also saw a skunk by the bathroom. Would stay again for sure.

Would stay again

Great water pressure. Hot enough water. Heated bathroom! Clean bathrooms.

It what it says it is!

Cute campground. Dog friendly. Super convenient location to the cave tours. Pretty clean bathrooms. Showers closed due to covid.

No showers but

Pretty clean bathrooms. Easy to find sites. PLENTY of rangers. Heads up: if you have a cooler or water jug it needs to be in your car while you’re sleeping or away from the CG. Nothing food or prep related can be left unattended. I have a large Pelican bear resistant cooler that lives on my hitch rack. It’s locked to my car frame, ratcheted down to both sides of the rack and locked shut. Upon telling the ranger it did not fit in my car, he inspected it, said “mm it seems rugged enough” and let us be. Would stay again for sure.

10/10

10/10 would stay again.

Bathrooms? Super clean! Water pressure? Phenomenal. Hot water? Oh yes!!!!! I think 30$ a night for a tent site is a bit high but the shower did help ease that ha And I might be too used to boondocking and utilizing BLM land

Campground review

Bathrooms and showers were clean and water pressure was great BUT no hot water even though I was the only one in the whole building at the time. But it is camping. That happens.

Also, quiet hours don’t seem to be enforced; our neighbors were loud AF complete with radio blasting, well into the night. They must have had 30 people at their site. It was absurd.

I’ve never been to a campground that was so busy/ not cognizant of others. People also left their stuff out everywhere.

I would stay again if I was desperate but not if I another option. Such as a Walmart parking lot. It’s getting three stars because I did not get murdered or raped and it is indeed a campground with amenities.

What it says it is

10/10 would stay again. Pros- Easy to find. Definitely marked campsites. Trashcans. Water. Easy on and off US 67. No one bothered us. Even saw official people in the morning.

Cons- the overpass is right there so it’s not quiet. Someone’s dog barked ALL night. Not another camper- a local’s dog.
