Great location for a quick getaway

This was my final campout for the year with my 2 fur babies. Road to park has a 3 mile gravel road, took it slow so it was not bad. The campground was empty and was able to move to a spectacular sunset view spot. Woke up at sunrise to find 4 deer wondering through. My dogs loved the campground. Will be back again.

Changed reservations day of campout

Loved going to Challis with the group I belong with but will not be back. Day of campout my reservation was taken away and was told to park with another camper. I had to park on the road as all of the other campers were anchored down for the weekend. The spot was not set up for two trailers and was told he does not offer discounts. Was unable to use fire ring nor set up outside kitchen due to how I was parked. The only bright side was the group of sisters that provided the weekend of laughter.

Perfect campground for spring getaway.

Wagon Wheel campground is nice place to relax. Nighttime star show is spectacular. The sand dunes are fun to climb. Sound of freedom with Air Force fly overs.

Relaxing

Midweek RV stay in April was quiet and relaxing. Not all stalls are RV friendly, my friend had to move due to her trailer would not level. Park hosts extremely nice to work with. Dog friendly park. Pool is older but the water was toasty warm to soak in especially in cold weather. Changing room was clean. I will be back as I noticed there is a dock to go kayaking.
