I’ve stayed here countless times. I’ve never had a bad experience! The bathrooms are usually pretty clean, the drive through the forest is beautiful. Don’t forget to stop to see the huge boulder on the ride in from the city! If you’re lucky, you might be able to catch the northern lights. The campsites are pretty open, but not as open as most camps. We had pretty good coverage by shrubs and trees. Just wish they hadn’t taken away the merry go round!
I’ve spent multiple trips here, all of which I can rave about. Clean, secluded, and the campsites are more private than a lot of other campgrounds. The drive in is beautiful, and the beach has an amazing view.
If you’re looking for sandy beaches during the day, and some of the best star-gazing, you’ll want to stay here! Campsites are pretty open to the public, but it’s a good way to make friends! We had no issues with the bathrooms, and the beach was clean. VERY easy to get to! We went in July and can’t wait to go back.
