We were here on a Friday & Saturday nights. Friday night had the whole place to ourselves. Saturday night all spots filled. We had quiet and respectful neighbors. People have been careless with leaving discarded boards and other items…not good… but door is still beautiful. Gorgeous stream/river…love the river sounds.
This is a beautiful little pull off the road right on the river with tables & fire rings. For correct coordinates look at Fire Road 25. This area is right next to FireRoad 25 rd. We did not camp here we camped on FR25.
We reserved a spot in the outer circle. We like having woods on one side. Nice campground camping….parking pad, fire ring, picnic table. Good amount of space between spots. Nice bathrooms & showers. We have a rooftop tent and we’re very happy. Loved the hike over “Mt. Tom” to the gorgeous beach and warmish lake for a swim. We choose the State Park vs. National Park so we could hike to the beach.
We arrived late n the day on a Tuesday. Limited choices, but ranger volunteers in an ATV were really helpful in directing us to a wonderful spot in a small meadow in the forest. A short walk to spectacular views of the Tetons. Amazing sunset! Other spots had direct views of the Tetons. Upper Teton View in Bridger-Teton
We thought this place was beautiful. Loved the beach camping on the lake. You could be on the lake or nestled in the trees. Open camping within the beach area you choose. Get a reservation, but plenty of open space. Gave it 4 stars because it was blowing like crazy when we were there.
We loved this experience, which is more than just camping. Lisa was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The prairie is beautiful and the views of the bluff are spectacular! Horses and cows roam. Camping is in an open prairie…plenty of space. Port-o-potty is very clean and convenient. Water is available…cool fresh well water. Truly a magical spot!!!! Shhh…it’s amazing!
Right for some, but not for us. It is free…awesome. We did a drive through and decided “no”. Nice chamber toilets…perk, but it felt cramped to us. We went to Buffalo Gap dispersed camping.
Thanks to others for the lead to North Pole Rd! We were in a 4 wheel drive vehicle with a roof tent. We kept going and explored logging roads and found a spot on a hill with spectacular sunset and moon rise views…didn’t want to leave.
We loved this spot in n our roof top tent. The farther to the left you go there are plenty of spots, we took a spot on a grassy bluff, not directly on the wall, but equally as spectacular.
