If you have the vechicle and the determination, you can travel the 25 miles on a rough dirt road to get to the most beautiful campground ever.
This campground provides some overflow camping for MF floaters, but it is mostly quiet, with the exception of big holiday weekends.
There is great hiking here both up and downriver. Check current regsfor fishing….and come the first of July you may be fortunate enough to see Salmon jumping at Dagger Falls!
This Campground is BUSY once the float season begins! Most Middle Fork Of the Salmon River trips camp overnight here before their launches. It can be filled with excited and noisy folks who are celebrating their good fortune in being awarded a permit!
in the fall, after the float season slows down this is a great campground with lots of hikes and fishing close by.
This is a pretty great campground if you are looking for a base camp in this area. Bring a firepan, so you don’t mess up the space with a fire ring.
This can have some sinky sand, in fact while we were there someone buried their brand new, I don’t know what the hell I am doing Mercedes motorhome up to the rims, so look for compacted areas and get out if it starts to rain!!
