This should be the trailhead for white mountain . There is a bathroom but that’s it . Be prepared to drive on dirt roads to get here

When we pulled in the herd was on the property . All our stay info was in an envelope hanging on the office porch . Clean warm bathrooms , coin operated showers .not a lot of other campers felt private and cozy to sleep with elk surround by redwoods

Plenty of parking with bathrooms . We were the only ones there in our camper van got in late driving from the redwoods on the way to crater . Lots of stars . No cell service

We’ve been on a road trip through California living in a van so after hiking lassen all day we were on the lookout for a shower . This place had a hot shower and toilet ! Community firepit was nice to share stories around with fellow travelers. Very nice folks running the place .

We squeezed in the last space before dusk . Very limited spots first come first serve . Bathrooms clean . Short distance from Lake Tahoe made it a easy stop after a day of exploring.
