PRETTY GOOD

Decent layouts on the ground Every spot is open to wind but none the less ! Very peaceful spot. Must reserve!!

Simply amazing

As I walked in to the head office, that situated in the entry of the camping grounds. I Lady greeted me with the biggest smile. I paid $36 for the cover. I got to choose wherever I wanted to camp. I chose to camp next to the water. I wasn’t satisfied at first with the first lot that I chose so I decided to go back and ask if I could change. She gladly excepted. I set up camp, right next to the water, lit up a fire around 6 PM. Great evening. Throughout the day temperatures vary between 80 and 96°. But quickly went back down around 4 PM writing this right now at 11 PM and it is about 65°.

Pretty cool remote spot !

The spot was great, we actually found it by surprise, while coming down from a wild camp a few hundred yards above that actual camp.

We drove in, first come first serve before 12 o’clock. The price is $24 per spot +8 dollars for additional vehicles. The host is amazing he camps on site and a trailer.

The entire day was lovely, as the newcomers came in and parked there 4 x 4‘s. This pod got it all louder. Not much to do around except if you bring your 4 x 4, this campsite is mostly accessible just for those vehicles. But if you do have one of those vehicles you will have a lot of great time.

Silent curfew starts at 10 PM unfortunately for us we didn’t have much luck when a bunch of drunks behind us made a lot of noise until 12am

Wood fires are allowed in the metal circles. Plenty of wood to grab and cut all around. Ultimately great time

OFF THE GRID

Arriving at the campground, the deposit place, obviously on weekends we were not thrilled by everyone around us, as well as the loud noise until past the curfew. So we decided the next day to go a little further in the woods where you’re no longer in the campground base. So this is called wild camping. And that was amazing not a single sound far from everybody, off the grid.

We went in April, and still had a little bit of snow. All the trail roads are mostly for 4 x 4 vehicles that really enjoy just going at it throughout the day. A lot of fun to witness that. The wild hikes surrounding the campground are really fun. Just remember where you camped. It seems like fires aren’t allowed during certain periods. Just be aware, we brought our own off the ground stove. And it was perfectly fine.
