I had 3 bars of AT&T which worked well. The view from the shore was amazing and in my opinion comparable to some spots in Hawaii. It was nice and quiet, chilly at night, and not too far from murphy. We also hiked up to a nearby fire tower and it was a fun little hike. 10/10 will be returning.

My friend and I came here mid July and set up camp in the shade of some trees and stayed for 5 days and the views from a nearby hill were excellent. Will be returning in 2024!

This place has Disney World level crowds. The camp sites are mega crowded and the road is in deplorable condition. It has an absolutely fantastic view of the Tetons but over all I’d say just find somewhere else to go. Absolutely not conducive for privacy in any way whatsoever.

I’m here right now in my tent, and I can say that this is my favorite camping experience I’ve ever had. I pulled on in and got an excellent spot right on the cliff without looking hard at all. I set up my tent and started boiling water to boil some eggs, and make some Ramen noodles because I was hungry And some people nearby were being friendly and we were talking and they invited me to have dinner with them at their RV and they had cooked steak, corn on the cob, and baked potatoes. It was an amazing experience, and the place was absolutely stunning. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend again. There are quite a few people here but that’s all right. If you don’t have a big problem with generators running, you’ll be fine. I kind of enjoy the sound. It’s like a nice ceiling fan. Rather quiet but you can still tell that it’s there.

I’m driving up to Wyoming from Tennessee and camping along the way and this was my first stop. I didn’t know what exactly to expect but upon pulling in there was one other car there and I asked them if they could help me find the designated camping spot, because I could not find anything Other than small patches of grass, which I wasn’t sure if they were camping sites or not, and he told me that I needed to get a permit to park and camp which shocked me, but I drove to where I could get enough service to call them and upon calling them, I discovered that I did not need a permit. You only need a permit if you’re in a group over 11 people. That was a little bit annoying, but it was an honest mistake on that guys part. He wasn’t being mean, just trying to inform me. Upon setting up my campsite, the heat and humidity really settled in and it was actually quite miserable but that was my bad for not bringing a fan. Overall the place is well-maintained and quiet. But you definitely are going to want to bring a battery powered or rechargeable fan. Incredibly hot and humid.
