Solid RV park

Not super busy, about half full on a Sunday night. Bathrooms and showers for campers are clean (the public ones closer to the lake are much less clean, showers there are closed). Lots of flat spots, every one has a picnic table. Paid $26 for a dry spot. Lake is also pretty.

Long drive, no service

I was planning on staying here but had no service for miles with Verizon. Not just spotty service, literally nothing until I drove back down 15 minutes and camped on a road turnout. It seems nice especially since there's a bathroom and picnic tables as it's a trailhead. I drove out after dark and the road was a little rough but nothing we couldn't handle. It's 40 minutes from 299. If you don't mind being without service or have a different carrier it would be a nice secluded spot.

Convenient gravel lot off 80

Good for pulling off into while on a road trip. There's a road sign that marks it (not in the exact spot shown on map here). No facilities but less than 10 miles from the next rest stop. No one here on a busy travel Saturday when the rest stops were busy.
