Good camping, massive denreq presence

Many go camping to get away from civilization. If this is your goal, this is not the campsite for you. Denreq patrols constantly. It seems less like a campsite and more like a training ground. We were responsible campers and yet we were harassed all night. The campsite itself if beautiful, and some include a kayak for exploring the pond. There are trails and boatdocks.

If you are looking for a secluded camp experience, this is your place. There are few activities on the campground but there are amazing trails in the area. It is very close to the susquehanna river and the cold cave. The campsites are large and include a firepit. They supplied a massive pile of firewood for free. There is a playground on the campground for those with children as well as a large field for children and adult children alike.

Cape henelopen

This is a beautiful campground! It is a mile walk to the beach. It has some of the best water and electric hookups I've seen. The tent sites are a good size and have a good mix of shade and sun. They also have a rv and camper section. Over 20 miles of trails through pine trees, with views of sand dunes. It also has historic ruins from ww2. The cape is amazing. You can walk into the water for what seems like miles and it only gets up to your shins. There is bay access for kayaking and fishing. A really great camp and hiking spot.
