Explorin' beautiful USA with my man & our dog, Churro! We set up camp in an overlander tent that's on top of a Jeep Wrangler! Here's our advenchurros!

So sweet!

We were the only campers around and we had an amazing time! Picked a spot right beside a stream. Pretty cold in the mornings but serenity is bliss!

Average, but worth exploring

Facilities were not the most maintained but like state park for its' location.

Lots of louder families while we were there.

Mighty fine place to be!

Booked this campground online and was very happy with our night stay! Be sure to reserve a spot right alongside water! Online booking shows a very easy to view map of different tent sites.

Enjoyed watching sunset here. Wish we had arrived earlier so we could swim!

Simplistic

Didn't have much to do in the area but this campsite provided the perfect night stay. Spacious drive in spots and decent bathrooms

Deep into woods you go!

Quite a few turns up to the campsite! Surrounded by nature and beautiful trees It rained while we were here but still managed to enjoy the quietness

Isolation and serenity at the lake

Wonderful, quiet, serene camping at the lake. If you enjoy primitive campsites this is the one for you! Though they have fire rings there's no water hook up and it's not kept up that well. There was thrash and beer cans scattered around the area, fortunately we found a site that was decent!

Wide open spaces

Cool campground but extremely flat with very little trees to provide shading. Campsites are very close to one another and without trees or other shrubbery on campground itself, there's not a ton of privacy. Right at the base of cave, makes it a comfortable stay right before any cave tours begin. Convenient spot with power & water hook up.

Popular site- Book in advance!

Definitely make a reservation before you come! Perfect location to explore an area of Yellowstone. If spending significant time in Yellowstone only stay here a day or so and then choose another campsite to get the most of area. Things in Yellowstone are pretty spread out, but don't fret they have gas stations inside the park

Spectacular site- oasis in the mountains

Leave time to explore the park! So many off the beaten track hiking spots. We were able to make a reservation but arrived past check in time. Rangers came by in the morning to confirm our details!

Bathrooms were decent…Water pump available- bring large containers air is sort of dry you'll want to stock up

Would stay here again!

One night comfortable stay

Easy drive in spot. We only stayed one night (dog friendly!). Camp sites are pretty spread out so you have your own privacy.
