Absolutely gorgeous !

We only stayed for one night, but we would’ve stayed much longer if it wasn’t so windy/cold. Definitely our fault for visiting in November. We want to come back at the end of summer. The views here were second to none. It was the quiet you would expect from a dispersed camping spot, perfect.

Quiet sites

We stayed at O.K. RV park & Canyonlands stable for two nights. We were surprised that it was not noisy. We were about two blocks from the highway and could barely hear it. We did not use the facilities but they looked nice from the outside. The host was very nice and accommodating. The spots were a little close together but the spots were not filled until we left. The views are beautiful!

I would definitely come back when we are in the area.

Beautiful camping spot

We camped at E70 and there was a trail right to the lake. It was beautiful! It was a little noisy from the highway but we were far enough away that it was really white noise.

There were a lot of wasps, so I recommend bringing a wasp catcher for your site.

Clean and quiet campsite

Great campsite. It was clean, well maintained, and quiet (for the most part). There were some barking dogs, but nothing to get too upset about.

The only thing that was no fun and could not be controlled was the mosquitoes. Holy cow, they were everywhere. Bring a lot of spray or bug zapper.

Bummer we couldn’t have a fire, but it’s understandable. It was nice to hear the River even though we weren’t near it. Peaceful place with friendly camp hosts.

Within a car ride to Vallecito Reservoir. We caught some fish and enjoyed our time.

We will definitely be back.
