Memorial Day Weekend

Decent little campground. Booked a last minute site Memorial Day weekend. For sure 10 - wasn’t the best spot but wasn’t the worst either. Nice trail by the river. Host didn’t have any firewood for sale, but there were places to grab ice/wood about 10-15 away. Pretty calm and quite despite the holiday weekend

The Crags Campground — State Forest State Park

We enjoyed this campground. It’s pretty basic, but that is fine for us. Our site (#19), felt pretty secluded which was nice. A mama moose and baby moose traveled through. That was neat, but make sure you watch your dogs. Another positive is that it is close to two good trails: American Lakes and Lake Agnes. Be aware that the closest town is 30 minutes away though.

Great Campground

Had an good time camping at Difficult Campground. The Campground was full but it didn’t seem crowded because of the separation between sites which was awesome. Great location, only 5-10 from Aspen. Will definitely be back.
