The mountains surrounding this campground are breathtaking. There is a small river running through the south part of the grounds, and you can hear it at night. It’s very quiet and relaxing. Few amenities, but great if you don’t need them.

Picturesque, lots of tree cover. Close to most of what Custer St Park has to offer.

Best part of this place is the hiking in Custer St Park. The hiking around sylvan lake was absolutely amazing. Campground was fine.

We stayed here on our way out to Yellowstone from Chicago and again on our way back. It’s quiet and well-kept, very clean. The sites are well-spaced and very wooded. Lots of nice short hikes for the kids. Beautiful rock formations to explore. I highly recommend this place!
