Do not stay here

Staying here was a huge mistake… for a few reasons.

The tent sites are TINY and just a patch of dirt. Our fire ring was almost completely rusted through and the sites are so close to each other it’s pretty uncomfortable to have a fire.

The entire area smelled like sewage. It was disgusting and we considered packing up and just driving through the night to our next destination.

We only decided to stay in an established campground because we saw they had showers and a bathroom… both were so disgusting we decided to leave and use the gas station bathroom the next day as early as possible.

The biggest waste of $30. You’re better off camping for free in the surrounding area because the benefit of facilities isn’t here.

Great location but be prepared for no privacy!r

This campground did the job. We wanted to stay close to Yellowstone and it was pretty cheap… it was packed though. I’m sure everything is in the area during august though. Our site was also supposed to have a bear box and it didn’t. It would have been helpful but it wasn’t a huge deal. The campground host was really awesome though and was so helpful. The bathrooms were super clean!

Beautiful views and access to a great trail from the campsite

It was an awesome campground. The views from the campsite were beautiful and there’s an access to the Maah Daah Hey trail from the campground. There’s no shade so it can get hot and you can see every other campsite but it’s still really awesome!
