Location, location!

Very close to the park. Very clean. Restroom available. Beautiful views. Fire pits provided.

One of my favorites!

Very well maintained. I always get site 8. Close to the restroom and the meadow. Vault toilets. Beautiful area all together. Nice quick drive in Southern California.

Quiet Spot

The campground itself is decent. Many of the campsites require you to park and walk your stuff down a path to get to your spot. So if you carry a lot of items, especially bulky items, this will definitely suck. Choose your spot wisely. I booked site 6 and it felt kind of shared. There’s a creek a few feet from the site so bugs were a huge problem until we lit the fire and the smoke cleared them out.

So much space!

Large space, you can park on the pads or the dirt. Very close to the park. Right off the highway and easy to find. No water, no restrooms and no cell service. Be careful if you tent camp off the pads. My tent got some holes from the tiny rocks, even with a good foot print. Some are just very pointy. Overall great free spot, can’t complain. Would definitely camp there again.

As good as it gets

Stayed Saturday and Sunday. This is the most perfect dispersed camping in the area. Just a few minutes from Yosemite NP entrance. Spots are pretty obvious which is great. Some have fire pits already established by previous campers. There’s a huge pile of wood that’s great for your fire. There’s a large paved area for RVs as well. Everyone was respectful. Some arrived closer to 10pm and still found a spot. No problem with noise after 10pm.
