Stunning park across the street from the lake. In the evening we could hear the wolves howling.
We happened upon this lovely, and convenient park during an emergency situation with our vehicle. This park is so nice, yes, it is near a freeway but step out your door and over to the park - WOW, who knew Wichita Falls was so pretty? We didn’t. We were stranded for two days (weekend) but this park made the delay completely enjoyable.
Love this place. It has so many hidden treasures. Ponds, trails, cabins, swings, pool tables, a small stage for performances…. But more than that, an outstanding staff that keeps it all running smoothly.
We adore this place. It’s located in the middle of an urban oasis. Within walking distance to Zilker Park, Barton Springs, So. congress and downtown. Perfect place to stay and help keep Austin WEIRD
This park is a gem. Located on the shores of Lake Brownwood. It’s a civilian conservation Corp park and has many wonderful pavilions and guest halls and guest houses for rent. Fishing, boating, hiking. Something for everyone!
Lovely park. Beautiful location and property surrounded by oak trees with an abundance of horses, cattle, a few donkeys and one goat. If you have horses this is the place for you if you are transiting through North Central Texas. Nice sites with full hookups. Pastoral setting. Smells like sweet country air. Sites all appear level and are quite long, I assume for those who are hauling their horses. We were just hauling our dogs but this was still an enjoyable stop. Full laundry facilities and Wi-Fi. Close to Dinosaur Valley SP.
Pretty Park in Austin! Hiking, swimming and all that Austin has to offer! Perfect for roughing it in an urban area.
The beauty of this park is incredible- even in the dead of winter! Amazing hikes. Nice campgrounds and amenities.
Loved this park however it’s huge and crowded. Lots of activities for boaters and fisherman. Many activities for hiking and swimming too.

Tiny gem nestled in a grand redwood forest and huge ferns and along the Gualala River. Hikes to the ocean, paddle the river to the ocean. Explore the redwood forest. They have coin showers.
Fantastic campground nestled along shores of Town Lakes and amid pine forest. Abundance of recreational activities. Fishing, kayaking, row boats, paddle boards. Hiking, Mountian Biking and when it snows - telemark skiing, snow showing. Well kept campground. Nice sites. Wonderful camp hosts.
This is a small, well kept campground. It’s within walking distance to Lake Sotcher as well as Reds Meadow Pack station and trailheads for Rainbow Falls and Devils Postpile. For now they have bathrooms with running water and flush toilets. There are also water faucets located throughoutcampground. Sites are well maintained and spaced well apart for privacy.
