This is probably the most unique lake in Arizona! Incredible views! Rock formations instead of shoreline make this a little less user friendly, but worth the effort.
Excellent campground during cooler months. Summer months temperatures can exceed 100 degrees. Great hiking trails all around the park. Campsites are very nice and very clean.
Awesome summer retreat for cooler weather. Be aware that monsoon season is late June-August and that means rain almost every day. Campground is quiet and clean. Lake has some great fishing and excellent scenery
Very nice campgrounds, close to the lake. Plenty of space between campsites. Kids were able to ride bikes on the numerous paths around the campgrounds and lake.
If you are looking for a quiet relaxing camping trip, this is not the place to go. If you are looking for 800+ miles of OHV trails, this is the place to go! ATV's, dirt bikes and side by sides galore! It is a fun place to camp if you are expecting the noise. Duck Creek Village is very close to Bryce Canyon and Zion
Easy fishing access and remote camping. Not much for man made improvements, the camping is very primitive.
Campground is well cared for. Some sites can be challenging to get to. Can be very difficult to get spots during the summer. No hookups, but there are bathrooms available in the loops. Lake can be extremely crowded during summer time also
Campground was packed! Despite being crowded, it was quiet. Facilities are very clean and well maintained. Park rangers were driving through regularly, which was nice to see. Camp sites are well cared for.
