Nice family style park for the rv or trailer crosd

This is a perfectly nice park, but aimed at the rv and trailer crowd. Not many tents or vans. Spaces are close together with families set up for weekend holidays. Nice enough facilities near the park. Clean bathrooms and nice playgrounds for the kids but nothing special overall.

Quiet spot in a busy area

Great campground with lots of availability on a hot July night. Spots are wooded and back from the road enough to be fairly quiet, though your neighbors can be close at time. Clean bathrooms with free showers. Boat docks and access to the lake, plus several fun and simple trails make this a great stop. In an area full of water parks and amusement, mirror lake reminds you it’s the nature that makes the area special.

Great location, a bit crowded.

Nice spot in the center of the park. Spots are small and close together. We travel with a rooftop tent and many were steep angles, something to keep in mind if you are a vehicle camper. Great access to trails and beach, perfect for biking and short nearby hikes. Vault toilets only, in decent condition. Lots of poison ivy around.

Quiet, coastal, remote.

Great campsite in the middle of Pictured Rocks. Close to the light station and Hurricane river, and about 35 minutes to Munising and the boats. Simple campground, steps from the lake on a peaceful and quiet Lake Superior beach. Wonderful spot.

Simply perfect

Absolutely beautiful and huge park on the tip of the Door Peninsula. Spacious sites that are mere steps to the water. It honestly could be your entire vacation with fantastic hikes, biking trails, swimming beach, well stocked store, kayak and canoe rentals, golf, a theater and more. There is no shortage of fun to be had here. Came in mid July and still found a spot. This place is a gem!

Quiet, spacious and clean

Nice quiet campground in a huge, green and spacious park. Enjoy the numerous birds and fireflies and the peace and quiet of very private sites. Swim or fish in the lake, archery or huge picnic sites.

Green and praceful

Great find on our way through Iowa. Clean and spacious. Very quiet, just listen to the frogs at night.

Safe stop, friendly people.

So this isn’t much more than a place to sleep, but it works while passing through a lot of nothingness on the interstate. On a working farm, with incredibly friendly owners. Easy to pay with Venmo and others, good service on phones and a safe place with other travelers. Some road noise from the interstate but it wasn’t too bad

Not the choice for tent campers.

Lots of highway noise makes this one rough for anyone not in an RV or trailer. The road is busy all night long and the campground is right on it. It’s clean, has a small pool, mini golf and playground for the kids, showers and a small store. Staff is friendly.
