Nice sites, all on sand/hard pack. Lots of permanent campers or long term folks. They had horseback riding and a small playground. We came in late and it was hard to find our map and site reservations.
No one ever answered the phone whenever we tried to call, days prior, day of, etc. that was disappointing.
Our site was night to the dunes so easy walk to the sand, but about 30 minute hard walk to the ocean, it was worth it.
Overall this place was nice, very clean and friendly staff. However the spots are Small! Our 40’ double expando barely fit and you had to go into the neighboring sites just to access your hook ups etc. Waste hook up is inches from our picnic table.
There are no real amenities at this park and it holds less then 50 campers. This is a fine stop over for a night, but no place to stay for long.
It’s close to the harbor, and the beach.
Amazing Staff, very helpful and nice. Grounds were excellent, well maintained and everything seemed very new. Food from cafe was really good.
We had a premium site at $185 a night and it was nice, but it was on the main entrance road so that was a little annoying. Site 91, not very much shade from the afternoon heat, but plenty from the morning sun with a massive live oak.
There is lots to do and great for families. If your looking for a quiet park, this is not it. Lots of activity and noise until park curfew. Everyone was super nice even guests. Lots of dirt spots, but premium had concrete pad. Our spot had a Nice BBQ and fire pit.
We will be back with friends for a longer stay in the future.
