Absolutely amazing trails and scenery. The summer heat there can be tough and rugged but it is always worth the trip over.

Not as quiet and a bit more busy than most Texas state parks we frequent but the kids really enjoyed watching the planes and the skyline views at night. Cant beat full hookup either.

There are plenty of city comforts 10 minutes away. We stopped in the area mostly to disc golf and hang out at the campsite so didn't try any local places eat. At the park there is a nice variety of trails and lake access as well but there were lots of renovations going on so some of the areas were closed.

It was a great place to stop after dealing with the Dallas traffic heading south and will stay again.

Pay $5 to park inside the gated area and have access to the trail

Amazing backcountry feel on Lake Texoma shores. Come prepared it's fully primitive but there are spots all up and down the Cross Timbers Trail you can either boat or backpack too.

Nice level pads, full hookups and a view of the river. Gated security, general store, propane and shower houses. Lots of golf carts and full timers.

Worth the price if you are looking for full hookup and a quiet spot but still pricey by the night.

River access is frowned upon. They have a playground and dog area I believe too but did not use.

Miles of trails and shoreline to explore…they are renting cabins or you can take your rv and boondock it a night or two. Very quiet and secluded compared to other places on Texoma.

Great hiking, biking trail on south shore of Lake Texoma. They have a few primitive spots next to the trailhead and several pads for trailers.

Boat ramp available and you can also backpack/hike in a bit for camping too.

Smaller RVs can pull off at South entrance to the road and high clearance can continue on to the lake and trailhead further up the road.  

Tent spots are available the entire way up.  Water was only available at the lake in August so come prepared.  Lots of elk trails, and the views were fantastic.  Road to the lake can be a bit busy and dusty if you have a spot close to it btw.

Great forest setting and if you are lucky you can get a spot overlooking the lake. Close to Hot Springs trails and city life but even closer to the IMBA epic trails in the area.

Nice and quiet state park. Trails are decent for biking and hiking, lots of fossils to look at on the shore, and paddling is great here.
