Couldn’t find a convenient overnight place to sleep, so pulled into parking lot of Cracker Barrel to sleep. Then had a fantastic breakfast the next morning before hitting the road to the mountains.
Booked camp site 2 months prior to vacation. We got the last spot. We wanted a campground where you weren’t packed in like sardines. Very well kept sites. Primitive or full hooks up and 2 super clean bathhouses and very friendly staff. Would stay there again.
Pulled in at 9:45 pm. Number to call was on door. Called it and msg said they’d return call next day. We needed to reserve that night. No envelopes in the box to prepay so we continued our travel.
Made reservations. Pulled in after 9pm and posted sign said to go across street to the store. They were closed too. Called #, no answer. Called the 800# and we were given our site #. I recommend calling day ‘of’ to get your site as cell service is very limited. We were there 7 nights. Campgrounds were good (a little overgrown) and camp office where bathrooms and laundry were was very spacious. We had hot showers for only 2 of those 7 days. Other days were luke warm. In colder months that wldv been in issue. Overall, we wld stay here there again. Only 5 min from Zion east entrance and there’s a gift shop - The Get -and food shop across the street. The pizza is amazing!!
Easy on off I-40 access. Close to midnight when we pulled in. Pay envelopes at front entrance. Well maintained grounds. Didn’t visit the city bathrooms….just stopped at the truck stop on the way out. Reviews say fires allowed….didn’t see any fire pit rings.
Pulled in to spend the night because it said tent sites on the app but the info posted on their board at the park said ALL sights have 30 amp so price is $28 per night. I
don’t need electric if I’m in a tent. App needs updated!
All RV spots were full when we found this on the roadside while passing thru around midnight. Has electric and water or tent camping sights. We used the dry sight for our tear drop. Easy on and off I-40. Bathrooms needed a code. The office was obviously closed because of the time of night we pulled in but we were able to pay for our sight by dropping the envelope at the office. Plan on stay there again on our way back home.
