An Oasis slid behind a busy part of town

A campground that you quickly feel at home.  Level spacious sites, most with a good shade tree, allows for a quick set up.  To find the campground you have to pay attention and this is both a blessing and a challenge.  The campground is convenient to downtown Wilmington and a short drive to Wrightsville Beach.  Plenty of shopping and other entertainment nearby if the weather doesn't cooperate. The park is clean the showers are hot and the pressure is good.

Hidden gem in the Georgia Mountains

The campground is well situated in a mountain valley.  the sites are flat and easy to access.  The roads are a bit narrow but big enough if you take your time.  The hosts were extremely helpful and pleasant to chat with.  The park itself has amazing vistas, waterfalls, mountain biking hiking and serenity.  Pet friendly, good for kids or adults with plenty to do no matter what you may enjoy.

Too bad it is seasonal

Wow what a view and location. Too bad it is only open for the summer. If you have a kayak SUP or canoe paddle back deep into the cove for some pristine and quiet areas. Some of the sites are close together but it is worth it for the location. If you like to camp with a neighbor there are a few double sites too.

Tucked away and convenient all in one place

Great sites and easy to navigate the staff is incredibly helpful and while you are out in the woods it is still very convenient and accessible to many attraction and areas of interest The bath houses are very clean and updated. The park offers boat rentals, hiking miniature gold and some very cool history.
