Headed up this way to escape the valley heat. Temps are significantly cooler. Decent dispersed camping sites, but coming in on a Friday afternoon a lot of sites already filled. There is a lot of road traffic in the area, keep an eye out for side by sides, motorcycles and 4 wheelers because a lot of them aren’t.
Decent spot right off the highway. Lots of places to pull out off of the main dirt road. Camping next to the river keeps the sound of the near by highway almost un-noticeable. Plenty of room for anything from tent camping to big RV’s. Plenty of hiking available in the area too. Lots of side by sides in the area do make for a dusty environment.
Nice spot right off of I-15. Lots of sites to accommodate both tents and RV’s. If you are a tent camper know that not all the tent pads are the same size. The site I picked had a small pad. Bathrooms are clean and have running water. There are a couple of trail heads located in the camp site that take you down and along the virgin river.
This is a great spot. Easy access from the main highway, lots of spots to camp right on the waters edge.
This was a great location with lots of available camping areas right off of the highway. There where a lot of cattle in the area, however once I pulled into my camp site they vacated and left the camp site alone.
This is a decent spot if you just want to get off the highway for the night. Plenty of spots to pull off of the paved road to camp. Sedans use caution, as the dirt trails to the camp sites are not the greatest.
Great camping area with a variety of camp sites. All site are closely located to vault toilets that are kept clean. Each site has, pavilion, fire pit, charcoal grill, and bear proof trash cans. It does get busy, for best selection of spots arrive late morning to early afternoon.
There are primitive camp spots down a rough dirt road right off the highway. Otherwise you are just setting up camp in the parking lot. Pretty quiet area and a vault restroom that’s door needs some TLC is available in the main parking area. Great spot if you want to get an early start on rock climbing.
This is a great spot for tent, trailer or RV campers. There are a handful of trailer/RV spots in the actual camp ground loop with plenty of room for tents in the center. There is a vault toilet that is clean and stocked with toilet paper. If the actual campground is full there are plenty of camp sites in the surrounding areas.
