Nice little park

Originally had planned on boondocking closer to Zion, but hot weather had us looking for hookup options. We called this park and they had space. Ot,s in Leeds, about 40 minutes to Zion.

The lady who answered the phone then checked us in could not of been nicer.

A lot of permanent residents but they keep spots open for travelers. Clean, and nice people here

Amazing views.

We originally planned to stay here a couple of nights but extended to 10 because we loved it so much. The views, the river, and the hikes are all amazing. The trick here is to get here before noon. Each day about 5 to 8 sites open up but they are usually filled up by 1300. If you can’t get a side there is Boondocking about 5 miles down the road off the 89a. Just come back the next morning and grab a site.

I subtracted one star due to the bathrooms. One of the two bathrooms was closed and one that was open was slightly disgusting.

There is a camp host on side to checks the site tagged each morning, and the Rangers periodically drive through.

There is water available on site and the rv dump station is just up the road at the ranger station.

Love this park

Our second time here. We really like this park. Yes it is essentially an asphalt parking lot, and yes trains do go by and honk their horn‘s. The pros are the location and there are no RV park Nazis here.. You can walk to the train, the Grand Canyon brewery, and downtown Williams. While here we had a problem with our main slide out. We had to extend our stay while waiting for a part from Amazon. Diane in the office was a gem and even put a hold on her spot in case we needed to stay longer to get it fixed.

Good location

Ok so this rv park isnt perfect. It does have some things going for it though.
Pros: uniquely located in the rocks above Watson Lake. Very strong wifi. Good location between Prescott and Prescott Valley. Cons: Dusty. Store/office still closed (March 2022) due to Covid. 🤦‍♂️

Here for one night.

We only booked one night as we are passing through and wanted to do the Big Texan Steakhouse. Park is big, clean, and staff is very nice. A little road noise from the I 40 but that never bothers us.

Not bad

Located in an industrial area. Lots of sites with just enough room between to not feel cramped. Nice staff. They pick up trash at your sites between 0800-1600 which is a definite plus. I subtracted one star due to the lackluster playground. This is a KOA “Holiday” but the playground had only a swingset. They need to add more for the kids.

Great for a night

Older park but great for one night. Normally for just a quick atop we would do Waldock or Cracker Barrel. Due to below freezing weather we wanted hookups. Called and left a message. Lady who called back could not have been nicer. Texted all info I needed. Wifi is strong here too.

Great location for Savannah and Charleston

We chose this park based on its location. It is about 45 minutes from Savannah, and one hour from Charleston.

The people working here couldn’t be nicer.

The park also has a wine bar and coffee bar.

Great location

Easy 15 minute drive to WDW. Clean KOA and nice employees.

Might be my favorite KOA

We have been full-timing since August. Have been at a lot of KOA’s. This one has a great setting amongst their own private pond. Also a great location as there is so much to do in St Augustine.

The office staff is great. This park doesnt seek to be saddled with endless rules, and endless workers on golf carts (like Starke/Gainesville KOA). We really enjoyed our stay here.

Nice little “old school” rv park

Booked a spot here over the New Years weekend as we travel through Florida. This is a small, family owned rv park. 15 back-in sites. Very friendly owner. You book by calling in only. The town of Steinhatchee has more to offer than Perry where we stayed at KOA. Only complaint is need to upgrade the wifi.

Not bad not great

As we have been full-timing since August we see a big difference between KOA “Holidays.” We don’t plan too far ahead. This has not been a problem until we got to Florida this month. This KOA had availability so we booked it. The good:The staff is very nice. We asked to change sites and they did so no problem. The sites in the back are nice and well spaced between each site. The bad:The pool and spa had worms in them. They probably drop in from the trees but the staff needs to maybe do a better job vacuuming them out. There is also not a lot to do in the town of Perry but that is certainly not the fault of the KOA.

Needs a little TLC

Not a bad KOA but as we have been full-timing since August we see a big difference between KOA Journeys.

This is not a bad KOA it just needs some TLC. It’s a bit outdated (the playground looks like it’s from the 1960’s) and the sites are strangely spaced. The staff is very nice though and they mentioned the park has some planned upgrades like a new, heated pool.

Nice State Park

Nice State Park. Clean and nice camp host.

Close to the very nice town of Ocean Springs Ms and its cool, walkable downtown.

We were originally in site 23 but asked to move to site 44 because 23 was right across from the Rv dump and all its smells as rv dumped.

The inner sites are longer and more level than the sites on the outside of the loop.

Nice state park

This is a very nice state park. Sites are well spaced out with water and electric. No dump at sites but at entrance. Close to city bit a rural feel. Staff drives the grounds, and gates are locked at night.

New KOA

This is now a KOA property as of Feb, 2021. They added more sites, and are planting palm trees to replace all that were lost in the Texas freeze.

Park has a pool, hot tub, and lazy river. Plans for a playground are in the works.

We enjoyed our time here. Clean park and sites are well spaced out.

Great free spot

Easy to get to and plenty of room right on the beach. There is no sign but google maps will take you right to the turn off. Ignore the sign that says entering fee area. I confirmed with Ranger that its a free area. They just ask that you fill out the slip at kiosk so they can keep track of the 14 day rule.

This place is fantastic

Originally planned to stay here 4 nights. Ended up adding 3 more nights because we enjoyed it so much. Great facility, very nice employees, close to downtown.

Nice park, nice employees

This is an older park. That being said the sites are well spaced, the employees are very nice, and the park is lined with trees.

Older park but worked just fine

Ok so this is an older rv park. It’s a little rough around the edges but they are remodeling the bathrooms, and the laundry room is great. The employees are as nice as can be!

This worked out great for a visit to Carlsbad Caverns which were phenomenal .
