Secluded tent only campground. Camp host Sherie-lee was great, very friendly and informative. Camped at site #5 ($19 per night) that was at the top of the hill. You will need to carry your stuff to the site. #6 was a nice site too but it’s a double site so it was $38 a night but you do have a river next to it. Bathroom is at the parking lot, not a flushable one but an actual building. Loved this campsite! There were a lot of areas to explore and walk through. A few deer sightings. Of course you need to check out pine valley reservoir (fishing, rainbow trout) and the hikes that are in the area (we did Whipple).
FYI- AT&T- no service (spotty near entrance of park)
Went in May 2020 during pandemic so options were very limited. We got to be in nature and was only a mile away from eagle valley reservoir (fishing) so happy enough but now that other places are open, I don’t find myself ever staying here again. Bathroom very dirty but I’ve seen worst. Got eaten alive by no-see-ums and found out I am highly allergic.
