Very close to Walmart

This is a nice RV resort. It has heated pool during the winter and hot tub is always hot, and also open 24 hrs. Great laundry 1.75 for wash and dry, need a card. Unfortunately close to airport. Military jets take off and landing. Very noisy, but just for a short amount of time. It starts at around 8:30 in the morning and ends around 10:00 pm at night. They do not run all day long. Just a few planes take off and land. I like that it is close to Walmart, plus the RV park will take your shopping cart back for you, just leave your cart in front of your site, and then it’s gone. Great dog park. Nice running track next to RV park. RV’s are close during peak season. We are here late in season so we are practically the only camper here. Great staff and they even bring your mail to you. No extra charge. You can do Amazon and UPS. Those drivers will bring it to your site rather than drop off at the office.

Very remote

This place is very remote. No water, electricity, or sewer. We stayed a week there. People living out of there cars and some run down trailers. They are pretty self sufficient. They have free internet at the Internet cafe. We didn’t have any time that we did not feel safe. We were able to leave and nothing was stolen or damaged. We had our inverter generator for power. Had great cell phone coverage 5g signal. Was able to stream on our TV with roku. Great sunsets and sun rises. Great view of the stars at night. Very close to salton sea. Walmart was about a half an hour away for supplies. There was also a lot of trash scatterd around. We did our part and cleaned up our campsite. This was our 2nd time there, so we knew where a safe place was to set up camp.

Very remote

This place has a lot of sites available. If you want cell service you have to to the far back towards the top of the park for cell service for phone and streaming. You can purchase their WiFi and use WiFi phone service on your phone if you want to stay in touch with family. Pool was open but not the hot tub. Pool is also not heated. Good restrooms and showers. Bathrooms are heated for those cold days. Plenty of bathrooms around. The campground is trying to up grade and closes off some areas for improvement. Loved it there. There is a bunch of quirky places to visit like Charlie browns, they have a lot of cool stuff to buy. Also has a place to eat while there.

Very rough

Plenty of sites if you have 30 amp. Plenty of full hook up sites. The 50 amp sites were all in one section. If you don’t need to run your A/C you can get by with 30 amp hook up. We loved most of the sites were pull thru. Had good picnic tables. Restrooms and showers were great. Like others have said this place needs a lot of care. A lot of sites were out of order. Nice trails there. Gilmore was a distance for us to restock on supplies. Pool was open but not heated. Hot tub was closed for the winter season. You are out in the sticks so no cell phone service. You could purchase WiFi and patch your phone thru WiFi calling.

Araby Acres

We really enjoyed our stay at this RV resort. The residents are very friendly, guess they like the constant new folks coming in all the time. Ask the residents about the attractions. They have great suggestions as what to go see. We were in the back part of the rv park, so road noise was at a minimum. The 2 pools are heated. Loved the hot tubs. Nice bathrooms and showers. They have 2 ply toilet paper. Real easy to get around town. Interstate 8 goes from one end of town to the other. Has everything you need or want. Lots to do there. We had a nice concrete pad for our porch. Separate parking for our vehicle next to camper. Also Mexico was real close. They only have free WiFi at the lodges. Was not offered to use WiFi that shows up while your there. Little to no antenna tv. They did not have 5g cell, only LTE coverage. Was able to stream thru cell service. We have T-mobile.

Great gem in the middle of nowhere

Great spot for a no frills campground. They have lots of pull thru spots, full hook ups. No amenities, but look it’s only 20 dollars.

Super nice

Very nice campground. Very well kept. Wonderful people and very helpful. Bathroom is like one in your own home, very clean and kept up. Can’t say anything bad about this place. Full hook ups and excellent WiFi.

Great for a KOA in a city with lots of things to do.

We had a great site, excellent shower house and laundry room. Concrete pads. The people here are very interested you have a great experience in New Orleans. They will let you know the good sites to see, from the French quarter to the cemeteries. They were very helpful on us getting our camper backed into our site.

Nice water front view

Great concreate pads. Several water front sites with a great view. Good spacing. Has showers that you can not regulate the temperature and a push button shower. Has laundry and good WiFi. Secure gate at night. Need code to get in after hours.

Great campground

Deb the owner is very personable. The sites are spaced apart very nice. The further away from the office the WiFi is weak. Fire wood is free. Super reasonable on pricing. Has a lot of trees, nice and shaded. All gravel lots, but very level. Can accommodate large rigs to small like us.
