This place was very nice. It had good amenities and was clean. It was kid friendly and I’m considering coming back with the family. RV hookups were great for power and charging an EV. The staff were very nice and there is tree coverage at the campsites for some added shade.

Ocean front, off road sand dune recreation if you have a capable vehicle. It’s great. Best with an off-road capable vehicle. Bathrooms are a bit rough without running water.

Fish, drive off-road, camp, bonfire or hunt for seashells.

Bring a good jacket in April.

Arrived too late to do hot springs so I’ll come back and check it out.

Bathrooms for women looked nice but men’s shower and bathrooms were a little rough. Could have been a bit cleaner.

There was a wash station that wasn’t working so I couldn’t wash dishes.

Not a lot of fires and a bit windy. Not too bad.

Full hookup for EV charge was great!

Dog loved the field area lots for him to sniff around.

We camped right on the water. The spot was beautiful. Wake up walk into the lake. At night little frogs like to reveal themselves from the sand. Dog loved it. Kids loved it. It was very hot but the East access to the lake made it better. Canopy needed this time of year for sure. Gets hot in September. Be careful coming down to the beach. If you drive the wrong way you will get stuck taking an rv down and you can pay for a bulldozer to pull it in if you need it.

The group campsite was spacious. The site was also pretty clean. Bathrooms were coin operated so that wasn’t the best for a shower. Would preferred a way to obtain coins or a heads up on that one. The spot we had was far from the lake so it was a bit of a walk. I’d recommend finding a site closer to the lake so you can get to the water quicker when it’s super hot. We had canopies but the sun beat us down pretty bad during the high part of the day. Very pretty paddle boarding sites.
