I was the only person camping on the small loop where my site was. The campground itself is something of a a large field. The sites them selves have several trees. The site was flat and clean. The starts were awesome. The shower/ toilets were a bit of hike but they were very clean.
This is a nice campground with decently wooded sites. The site I sated had water, electric, a picnic table, a fire pit and a lantern post. There was a flat spot to set up my tent. The campground had decent star views and was a short walk to clean pit toilets. The showers were a short drive away and were also clean.
This is a nice campground on the shore of a small man made lake. The lake has a boat ramp and fishing pier. Some of the sites need minor repairs and the some disgusting person made a mess of the men's pit toilet but the a crew cleaned it in the morning. The campground has decent views of the stars especially looking north. The site I chose was close to the lake and relatively level.
This a small campground with only 6 sites. The pit toilets were clean. The site stayed at had a fire ring/grill, picnic table and a tent pad. One of the sites had an Adirondack shelter. This site is close to US 82 which means road noise but I ignored it after 20 minutes.
This a nice little campground close to the Rio Grande and only a few miles from the Santa Elena canyon. The sites some what close together but still roomy. The pit toilets were extremely clean. The park host and national park employees friendly and helpful.
The Cedar Grove tent camp area was well wooded with sites that were decently spaced. The sites had a fire ring/grill with a lantern post. There was water spigot close to my site. The restrooms were clean and the showers hot but the heater shower was slow to heat up. Decent views of the stars at night
This campground is next to a large lake. It has tent sites with picnic tables. Some have lantern poles, fire pits and/or grills. The RV sites have water and power with same assortment of other things. The lake has a boat ramp with a small dock/fishing pier. This is a good place to take a telescope or just stargaze. Some of the sites need minor repair. The restrooms will clean. The restrooms nearest the RV area have showers.
I choose a campsite on the lake with some shade. The Campsite was only about half full and was quite. Some sites have a fire ring and grill mine only had a grill but I made it work. Many of the sites have lots of shade. The restroom was clean.
This campground is next to the Rio Grande. The night sky views are spectacular and the daytime views are just a beautiful. The site had a fire ring and picnic table. The site may require a high clearance vehicle depending on recent weather. FM 170 between Presidio and LaJitas has plenty of scenery, hiking trails and fishing opportunities.
The site has awesome views of the night sky and of the surrounding mountains. The road is passable if you drive slowly. Plenty of room to park. The site is exposed to wind and dust storms so a lower profile tent would be a good idea.
I had an awesome campsite by a dry creek bed. I was close to a restroom that was clean and had hot showers with good pressure. The view from Davis Mountain is amazing.

This campground is a good place to stargaze. The campsite itself had good shade. It had water, a grill and a ground firepit/grill. The camp ground had nice trails and small lake for fishing.
This was a nice campground. The shower and bathrooms were clean. I had an owl as a camp companion all night. The campground was quite and clean.
