Nice space between sites. Free WiFi. Very large and clean bathrooms. Laundry also available in bath house. A little different than my typical “wooded” camping experience, but a nice, clean, quiet spot to relax.

It is so beautiful here but if you need an actual bathroom, the pits were so gross this last trip.  You can’t beat these views!  One of the prettiest in Shawnee Forest in my opinion.

Even the way here was fabulous!  If you love nature and don’t need electricity to have a good time…this place is awesome.  Nice playground and pavilion too!

Great camp host!  Bathrooms are ok.  This is a small campground and park.  Never had a bad time here!

I thought the campsites were crammed together.  The primitive looked nicer but we were in our camper and wanted electric.  It’s a nice place but I like a little more space.

We love camping here for the beauty of the lake. Had fun kayaking here too. Usually the bathrooms are cleaner than this last time which is why I gave it a 4 star. If you want a lake spot, make a reservation way in advance.

This was a very peaceful and beautiful place to camp and explore. We took a break from cooking one night and ate at the Lodge located at the park. We also visited the cave and explored Garden of the Gods. We rode the Ferry to KY and picked up more camping supplies. We will definitely return!
