Great hiking trails, camp store, kayak rentals, basketball court, tennis court, sand volleyball, playgrounds, astronomy center, bluff view sites available. Nice shower and restrooms in campground. Boatlanding and canoe trail.
Had a hike on site on the bluff. Stunning views and very secluded. Carts available for hauling in your gear. Hiking trails, fire wood for sale on site. Bathrooms very nice, showers like new! Lots of picnic sites along the bluff.
This county park hits all the important stuff. Great sites. Electric sites. Nice restrooms with flush toilets/showers. Store. Fireword on site. Clear water for swimming and no motorized boats. Playground, sand volleyball court. On the ice age trail. Bike trails. Near ATV trails and they offer disc golf. Ill be back here for sure.
You need to hop the ferry (about 60$ round trip for car and 2 people). Once you arrive there are plenty of shops and restaurants to kick off your stay. We had site 49 at Big Bay state park and the tall grass throughout the park was a bit disapointing and the ticks were pretty bad. But the beach and the point were fairly bug free and we spent most of our time there. Cliff jumping, swimming, boating and hiking trails this park has a lot to offer.
This is one if the busiest State Parks in Wisconsin because it has so much to offer! Great roomy sites, many with electric. Stunning lake surrounded by bluffs and beaches. This campground is located on the Ice Ave Trail. Balanced rock, devils doorway and potholes are just a few of the challenging yet stunning hikes. This park is often full to capacity so camping is your best bet. Great for kayaking, SUP and swimming.
Camping, hiking, boating, cross country skiing. This park has a lot to offer. Not as crowded as some other state parks its a nice relaxing place to be.
Great place to explore. Beautiful water side trails. Connects to ice age trail. Basic sites. Can be a bit crowded.
Great place for hiking year round. No camping V
Available but they do have an observation tower.
It was a nice site but probably the nosiest place i have ever camped. Great place for hiking. Kayaks for rent. Nice sized site. My neighbors left out garbage and so i was up all night with racoons trashing their site. Not the campgrounds fault just lazy campers. I would go back again and hope im next to more considerate neighbors.
Loved this site. Big open site. Great for star viewing. In between two great lakes. With hiking, biking trails. Loons will sing you to sleep. Sites are big and nicely spaced out. Nice shower-restrooms. Lots of mature trees mean lots of places to hang your hammock.
Big clean sites. Clean bathrooms/showers. Between to lakes. Near hiking, kayaking, swimmimg.
Loved this campground. Great amenities. Loved the pool/hot tub. Nice big site with electric/water. Tent camped and the bathrooms clean and close by. Amazing store and they even delivered pizza right to our site. Pancake breakfast was wonderful.
Tent camping in yellowstone was great. Loved seeing the mountains, geysers, bison, hot springs, sunsets, and waterfalls.
Pool, close encounters of the third kind on big screen outside at night with the tower behind it. Nice store. Good clean bathrooms/showers.
Waterfalls, large well maintained sites, hiking trails, clean restrooms/showers.
On Lake Michigan this campground has boating, biking, swimming, hiking, camping, great store, lighthouse…well clearly it has it all. Best sunsets ever. Several campgrounds some with waterfront sites.
Nice sized sites. Nice bathrooms. Loved the hiking trails. We were able to get a walk-in site with electric. It was before memorial weekend so nice and quiet.
This is a true gem. Amazing waterfall you can explore. Great hiking and nearby lake being restored. Great family vacation. Be careful. This place is addicting!
Beautiful crystal clear lake. Loons common. Great sites on the water. On bike and hiking trails. Great for swimming and kayaking.
