Free Camping

Access to the river is closed as of 26 January, still plenty of dispersed places down the road to camp. Bathrooms and trash dump and lots of trails to ride bikes! Some of the sites are a little rough for trailer access.

RIGHT ON THE BEACH!

Walking distance to shops and restaurants, walking and bike trails, beach access, and friendly staff! Only cons are the extremely busy road is right next to the park, it can be very loud and when the park is full the spaces can get pretty tight.

Really nice amenities

Wonderful shuttle bus to and from casino, heated pool and jacuzzi, dog friendly, walking trail, full hook ups, very clean, lots to love!

PRIVATE BEACH!

We came in as a drop-in to this location ($66 for full hook ups) and it is absolutely magical! The staff is so friendly that the resort has an excellent community feel. There is a little walking path up the hill to "town" where there is a grocery store and coffee shop. This resort has its own private enclosed beach where dogs are allowed off leash! They have showers and bathrooms as well!

Good things to know before arrival: not all beach spots have full hook-ups, and only 1 has a sewer connection. It is very tight drive in, and they often have to turn large RVS/Trailers away. On the list, a majority of their spots can host 22ft-30ft trailers.

Nature lovers paradise

This camp ground exceeds expectations with its natural beauty! Tent camping gets closed for the winter season but plenty of RV spaces($40 honor system) with lots of options to choose from. There are not many people in the off season so we were able to get a spot with direct access to the beach! Each spot has a picnic table and firepit. This place has lots of wildlife (raccoons) so be careful what you leave out! **dog friendly

Incredible Views!

The road is a little tight to get into this resort( 1 lane road with traffic going both ways with few pull offs) but the views are absolutely amazing! We stayed in the Lakeview spot and had the entire place to ourselves during the week. It's definitely more of a summer stay but we enjoyed it in the fall just as much. Staff was very attentive and friendly, resort is quiet and secluded from the main road. MUST BE SELF CONTAINED TO STAY IN THIS LOCATION!!

NO ACCESS! DON'T COME HERE

Absolutely no access!! Gate shut and locked, camping area inaccessible due to fire damage! Road not maintained.

CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

The area is very beautiful, however, camping area is closed! Metal gate is shut and locked with zero access to the camp ground. "Until further notice"

Clean and Close to Town

This location is very clean, close to town with full hook ups. Staff was very friendly! It is right next to a pretty noisy road but I think it's a good stop for the night 👍

GATE CLOSED!

Not sure if this closes for winter or if it's just closed because of the snow but there is no access at this time! Everything is shut, with wire across access point.

Gorgeous Views!

Stayed at this location when there was about a foot of snow on the ground, so I didn't feel comfortable driving into the actual camping area, instead I stayed over night on the paved round about. Nice and quite and woke up to gorgeous views! It looks like they are cutting down trees in the area that you would camp at so there are big piles of logs everywhere.

Good place to hike around, I could see this place being perfect for the summer!

Close to Lake/ Boat Launch

$5 day use, $30 dry camping, $40 hook ups per night. This location is well maintained and clean, quiet and secluded. Has a nice restaurant about 5 minutes up the road off 395. Minimal cell service. Not many patrons during the week I had majority of the place to myself minus those using the boat launch
