Beautiful Park

This park is absolutely gorgeous and feels like you’re on top if the world. There is a diverse range of campsites so make sure to look at the pictures before you reserve to ensure the site will fit your needs. The campground is gated and the staff is helpful and friendly. The views from the top are breathtaking and the hikes are refreshing. We absolutely loved this place and are dreaming about coming back!

Beautiful State Park

My favorite thing about Jubilee is how quiet it is. The abundant forest, trails and the creek going through the park make this an ideal place to visit during spring and fall. Summer is ok too but may get a bit hot in Central Illinois for my taste. The campsites and campground are very nice. Electric only with water available and a dump station. Great local piece of nature and peace to disconnect and reset.

Absolutely Stunning Park

This location is an absolute treasure. The beach is stunning and the trails are awesome. There is a ton of beach space and the beach is a short walk from the camp sites. The camp sites are well spaced out and there is a variety of shaded non shaded and etc. Most sites are electric only and there are non-reservable sites which go fast during prime season. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. This is close to a metropolitan area so there is sometimes a lot of traffic - people going and leaving. Rangers will leave you alone but are present and available to help. We had an absolute blast!

Exceptional Camping in an exceptional place!

Sites are a bit close together but provide a decent space. Full hookups and tent camping available. Sites are level on gravel and there is a fire ring and picnic table on concrete slab. Must be bear aware and there will be dear and possibly elk walking across the campground. Breathtaking views and sunrises. Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park all there!

Quiet; Deep Shade by the River

If you’re looking to stay close to Peoria and enjoy beautiful sunsets and the water this place has it. Big trees, deep shade and it’s right on the Peoria Lake on the Illinois River. The place could use some TLC but the owner is super nice and the the location and shaded spots are well worth it. Took my son out fishing and had him practice casting! He is 4. If you’re looking to escape, be in nature, close to the water with nice sites, this place is it. If you’re looking for super clean and lots of amenities this is not it. Most sites are full hook up with some that are for tent camping. Plenty of room and easy to get a site. Our family enjoyed a little time in the breeze and shade by the river away from the scorching summer heat! We really loved our site!
