Very attentive staff

Some seasonal campers were pressure washing all day on a holiday weekend. I emailed the staff and they took the time to come to my site to discuss and they were great. The site we had was huge! Will come back!!

First time here. Lovely wooded sites

Full hookup sites. Large sites in the woods with picnic table and fire pit

Beautiful beach location

This is a beautiful beach location and convenient to many good things. Some shady sites, which keep the summer temps down.

Nice sites in deep woods

Convenient location, but still let’s you get away. Nice wooded sites. Only complaint about Massachusetts state parks is no alcohol even while sitting in your site.

COVID situation

A few modifications. The bathrooms are family style. One family at a time. Check in is at the beginning of the 3-mile road to the campground and the camp store is a walk-up window only. Otherwise, it is the same!

Nice place, but Mass rules?

When you are sitting by the campfire, sometimes, chilling with a beer or another adult beverage is nice. Not in Massachusetts State Parks. No alcohol allowed. Too bad. The place has nice level sites and close to the Cape.

Similar to Bear Brook

Some campsites are spread out and secluded. Swimming is good until later in the summer when the water gets a little high with algae.

Been going since the sixties!

Family camping is great here. Traditional camping in deep pines with a quiet lake to swim and places to play for the kids. Nice trail system for weekend hikers.
