Arrowhead State Park

We stayed at Arrowhead in a travel trailer, with friends tent camping on our site. Nice big pull thru site located in Turkey Flat, although most sites do not have much shade / covering. Great location on Lake Eufala with a golf course nearby, as well as horseback riding located in the park. Staff was friendly, as well as the Park Hosts. Family friendly and quite, with great trails incorporated throughout.

Probably WAS a nice park . . .

We visited Cedar Hill State Park in October, 2016 in a 33ft travel trailer. Overall the park is big, but at the time about half the park was closed due to the flooding in October 2015. The site was okay, but it's 1st come, 1st serve. This makes it harder to find a good site that is large enough for some RV/s / travel trailers. Although it's close to home, we probably will not visit this park again until it has been cleaned up and the lake access is re-opened.

Loyd Park is one of our favorites!

This city run park is one of our favorites, and only minutes from our home. All sites are paved, several are lake front, and the majority of them are well shaded. We camp here often - by ourselves, and with friends. Beach area and playgrounds are great, although you do have quite a few "day users." The park also has a boat ramp.

Great, family friendly park

Was pleasantly surprised at this Corp of Engineers park. Extremely clean grounds and super friendly staff. Allows pets ( on leash of course). Our site had power and electric only, but I believe some sites also have sewer. We had a great view over the lake, although no water access.

Overall, nice park

Overall, the park is nice. Most Sites appear to be good size (at least those near our site). Has store onsite for drinks, snacks, etc. Ability to rent paddle boards and kayaks at the park to enjoy the lake. The beach area left a bit to be desired, but it does provide access to the lake. Allows pets, as long as they are kept on a leash.
