We found a gorgeous campsite at this campground with Lake Michigan just over the sand dunes.
The campground was well maintained. Some of the campsites were sandy and unlevel.
Here are closeby fun things to do and see:
1.) The Muskegon South Pierhead Lighthouse is located on the channel in the harbor of Muskegon, Michigan.
2.) USS Silversides Submarine Museum with World War 2 submarines, gigantic torpedoes and more.

This 2 night/3 day kayaking and camping trip on the Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia was filled with surprises. I knew there would be alligators but I did not expect the Okefenokee swamp to be so beautiful! Spending the night on the camping platforms under the stars was amazing. This trip was an experience of a lifetime and although it was challenging for me at times, it was very rewarding.

Located directly across the street from Lake Superior with direct access to the gorgeous lakeshore.
The campsites had electric hookups and the campground had public showers and what appeared to be new restrooms. They also sell firewood, have a water and sewer dump station and a pavilion with a large group campfire hang out area.

Gooseberry Falls State Park is gorgeous! There are 3 main waterfalls with many places to wade in the water and go swimming along with numerous hiking trails and many other activities.
From my observations the majority of people that come to Gooseberry Falls State Park only visit the falls so they were crowded when was there.
I really enjoyed doing and seeing these things while I camped there:
1.) The Falls
2.) Picnic Table Area
3.) Hike along Lake Superior
4.) Fifth Falls Trail
Here is a video highlighting the Falls and my list of suggestions of things to do while camping here.
