Update since pool/moon bounce is open. My boys loved in the pool and on the moon bounce. We stayed this time in orange 4 and that spot is huge. It’s directly across from everything for my little ones. This place has a small “lake” but has two man made beach spots. The sand is very nice and clean. A small pavilion for shade due to Covid no chairs or umbrellas were out to use. BYOC/U. Not over crowed at all. They have kayaks to rent out. I will add the bottom of the lake was very slimey and mushy as it’s a lake\pond so bring water shoes if you plan to walk out more than 20 feet in the water. Perfect for floating or staying closer to shore. Bring some tubes or floats for the lake. Firewood available for purchase $5 bundle at store. Ice for sale as well. A Dollar General 5 miles away. Playground is older but my boys had fun using it for hours. Mini golf was very nice($3). Showers/bathroom we used near our “ black 12 “ spot was brand new and very nice! The spots are a little close in black areas but backs up to woods and we had an open spot next to us so was not a problem. All the staff was super friendly. The fire ring was very large. We already booked another weekend. They offer half off for AD military which is the only place I know that offers that.
The spots were very spacious. It’s not very wooded. Basically an open field with some large trees for shade. The water “beach spot” was very clean and very calm for lounging on a float or playing in the sand. My boys loved it. Showers were a little buggy than some I’ve been in but it’s camping so it did not bother me. Bathrooms were very clean. There is a gravel road for bikes and very rural paved road outside we rode bikes back and forth on. No fire pits ring so bring your own or idk what you would do otherwise? There was a picnic table. I would say the water access was the best part and it was very spacious and not full at all so that was nice. Lots of space and beautiful water view. You can rent kayaks and there is a small store but we did not utilize that.
