Hot & Sandy

Most of the pull thru sites are not level, we have auto level on our 5th wheel and the driver side tires were 3” off the ground. During COVID they are only booking every other site which helped with us fitting into our site. They do have a covered picnic tank engine at each site. Handy park if you’re there to fish. Would try somewhere else in the future.

Pecanville

Quiet, small, 16 site RV Park set in a pecan grove along the scenic Frio River in the southern end of the Texas Hill County. We stayed in late October and the pecans were falling. If you wanted to gather any pecans you had to beat the deer to them. Lots of deer and wild turkeys all over the grounds. Plan ahead and book early, it’s quite a popular location.

Very nice COE Campground

We stayed in loop 2 site 149. Very big well spaced lakeside sites. Wanted to add more days but the weekends book full. Plan ahead and book early.

Close to Heaven

One of our Favorite campsites evvvver! We visited in mid October and had the pick of any of the 140ish campsites, as we were the only ones there. With a little jockeying, we were able to get the rig out on the point. Front steps of the RV just 15’ from the bank of the Niobrara River! Watched deer, turkeys, and 3 little river Otters right from our site. 30amp service at this site. Probably 25-30 RV sites not on the river bank and the rest two miles of primitive sites along the river of which a handful big enough to park an RV. Rita & Jack were great to deal with and Jack was very helpful. Would definitely stop again if ever in the area!

Great Stop

Nice clean county park! Staffed 7 days a week. Each site has water & electric, dump station in driveway. 50amp service $20.00 per night, 30amp service $15.00 per night. Most sites have covered picnic table. Would stop again.
