This FF campground exceeded our expectations. Easy access to the park. You're surrounded by beauty with the likelihood of a bison sighting or two (we had a herd walk through the campground twice). Most sites have ramadas to provide shade. Pit toliet bathrooms were well maintained. No water available. No cell coverage.
We enjoyed our two night stay in the tent only section of the campground. Sites were well spaced that provided a tent pad, picnic table, and fire pit. All were walk-in. Water available. Pit toliet. Helpful camp host.
Very peaceful but small campground. Each campsite has a Ramada, picnic table, grill and fire pit. No water. Pit toilet. Limited cell coverage. Free.
All sites are walk-in tent only.
The only issue we experienced were the horse flies but this would not deter us from staying again.
For being a large campground we were pleasantly surprised by the tranquility of this location. Located in the southern section of the Grand Teton NP it provides easy access to the park and Jackson Hole. Sites are well spaced. Bathrooms clean. Depending on the location of your site the bathroom may be quite a walk away.
Clean, well spaced campground next to the Snake River. Walking distance to nearby falls. Cell coverage (TMobile).
Great base camp location for anyone interested in exploring Craters of the Moon National Monument. Rangers were very helpful. Toilets were clean. No showers. No cell coverage. Location can get windy.
Situated next to Pettit Lake this campground served as a base camp while we explored the nearby hikes (Alice & Farley). Helpful host. Clean pit toilet. Water accessible in an adjacent trailhead (Tin Cup) parking lot. Campsites are well spaced. All sites are FF. $18/night. No cell coverage.
Only concern we had was that our site #13 was buggy given its proximity to the lake. Next time we will pick a site farther from the lake.
This is our 2nd stay at this campground but different season. The reservoir is low but the view is still gorgeous. We had the place to ourselves.
Good cell coverage (TMobile).
Very peaceful campground nestled in the forest. Sites were clearly defined with fire rings and picnic tables. Pit toilets were surprisingly clean given the remoteness of this campground. There are several dirt road trails from campground offering various hiking options.
Road to campground was easily accessible by 2WD.
Only concern we had were the abundance of mosquitoes. Would go again.
No cell coverage.
No cost; FF campground.
Lovely campground next to the Klamath River. Sites were fairly large and private. Not RV friendly but great for tents. Water available. Clean pit toilets. Campground is slightly close to road but not annoyingly so. Limited hiking from campground.
Close proximity to Eagle Lake. Sites are close together = no privacy. Bathrooms were clean. No showers but flushing toilets. Limited cell coverage. Great hiking trail on paved path accessible from campground.
We were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful our 2 night stay was at campsite #27. Camp hosts were super helpful. Bathrooms were clean. Multiple hiking trails from campground to museum, town or around the lake. Would stay again.
Camping among Saguaros was such a treat. Very close proximity to the park. Gorgeous sunrise/sunsets. Very peaceful. Clean bathrooms. Decent cell coverage.
Great spot to stay. Clean and spacious. Pit toilets. Poor cell coverage.
The views and proximity to several hikes made our two night stay perfect.
Although small, Tillicum offered a great spot by the ocean. Not all sites are level so choose wisely.
Although we loved being so close to the various hiking trails within the park, the campgrounds themselves are designed more for RVs. We had to see the ranger several times before we found a site that has enough green space to pitch a tent. Rangers we're super helpful throughout our ordeal.
Otherwise, Fort Stevens is a great place to explore.
We had such a great time camping at Cape Disappointment State Park. Campground offers several private sites next to the ocean. Hot showers. Close proximity to various hiking trails. Very peaceful stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. We opted to rent a cabin due to snow and we're so happy we did. Cabin was heated making our stay very cozy. Rangers/camp hosts were super helpful. Easy access to various trails within the park.
We were able to get cell coverage in most of the park.
We enjoyed our three night stay at this campground. Despite it being a weekend the campground itself was almost empty. Stunning views. Great hiking in the nearby area. The road was manageable with a 2WD vehicle. No cell coverage. Pitted toilet. Free.
