We loved our spot in the woods with water tap right outside. Friendly hosts delivered fire wood right to my campground. Good location - creek in the backyard and lots of driving destinations like Hood River. This particular site which was sloping - and neighbors were noisy and chopping down live trees and limbs on site - disappointing.

Lake is pristine, calm and gorgeous. Easy to kayak. Easy trail access to hikes. Cold in the morning (Aug) but warms up quickly.

Well maintained campground even though it is quite large. If there is any kind of wind - the kayak rental will be closed so be aware. Plenty of tree cover say most sites. Very clean facilities. Note that you won’t get that secluded feeling here. This is a full service campground.
