Family owned campground and they make you fell like family also. They come around every evening with firewood for sale and inform you of any inclement weather. Water, electric and showers. They do have kyak and tubing with rentals for both. River tubing is fantastic there. Small store on property. Very well kept property. A must camp destination.
Did not disappoint in anyway. Camp sites are close but had trees and natural grasses so it feels like you are in your own private woods. Well kept hicking trails, beautiful lake with docks and nice beach. Offered kyak rentals, water and electric sites. A must see.
I think I have found my favorite campground. Has 3 section one I think is for larger campers though there are only about 10 sites. Another is for horses and has corrals with the sites. The one I stayed in is for smaller campers. Quiet and primative with others that wanted to get back to nature. Not one single generator!! Sites are shaded and private.
Beautiful lake. Most campsites are seasonal so make your reservations early. Bathrooms are very clean and showers are spacious. Only downside to this beautiful campground is the small sites. (We had a 10 foot camper and a tent.) Next campers slide out was over the tent. Wouldn't stop me from staying there again though!
Camp site that we got was pretty much full sun. They do have other sites that are pretty. Sites have ample space and you are not over crowded. Somewhat disappointed on the cleanliness of the bathroom/shower room for the money they charge. Beautiful path around the campground over looking the St. Louis River.
Absolutely a beautiful campground. There arent many campsites that arent seasonal but the ones they do have are beautiful and shaded. Beach has gorgeous views of the lake and kayak and canoes are free to guests. Very nice people that operate the campground. Loved everything about this little diamond that we found. Reserve early spots fill up quick.
Absolutley love this campground! (Note this is the primitive section.) Primitive campsites are very spacious and most having sections of shade during the entire day. Clean and well kept primative toilets. Beach is amazing with little bay area that is calm even on windy days for the kayaker or paddleboarder. Boat dock with ample parking. A must stay for the water enthusiasts!
If you like the who has the biggest camper contest you will find it here. Whole lot of city people thinking they are ruffing it. Campground itself is nice and well kept. Worth a stop just for the historic history near by.
Love the fact that this little body of water has a great beach and idle speed rule. Paddleboard and kayak rentals. Campground does have electric hookup with a few primitive sites. If you are looking for shade you wont find it here but the people and water make it worth it.
