Stayed here for 2 nights. A little pricey at $55/night but had some unique amenities. Water, electric, and sewer all great. Very clean, well manicured sites, mostly shady. Park was landscaped beautifully, felt like an old Florida lodge. Staff very friendly and stayed out of site. Offered free kayak usage, and airboat rentals. The Wi-Fi was the best I’ve ever had at any camping park. I got 2-3 bars of Consumer Cellular. Great little pub on site..had one of the best burgers and fries ever! It’s popular with locals but never got loud or rowdy. Felt very safe.
Beautiful campground. Many waterfront site, mostly all spacious and relatively flat. Be aware though that the crushed gravel pad base can allow your jacks to settle too far down. We have snap pads but even these sank to the point that one of our jacks had to be dug out. Had to use a Mobil Mechanic. Otherwise, beautiful, peaceful, view of the dam and lake outside our windows. Large level grassy areas with great shade trees. Some sites, like ours, would be great for solar…others had good shade. Amazingly very few bugs, and an almost constant breeze.
Some of the most beautiful waterfront sites we’ve been to. Most of the water sites were very big, with several being huge. Lots of separation between most of them, fresh gravel, mostly level. Some of the sites are elevated and the pads have nice guardrails so that kids can’t access the rip rap and fall. Very quiet when we were there, and hosts were great as well. Had Consumere Cellular and mostly had 2 bars, easily enough to stream.
