Best for campers/trailers

This is a nice campground with large spaces and nice views. It is not ideal for tents. The campsite is a large gravel lot so we had difficulty finding an even spot. Even so, it was not a bad site. It was simple to find and is close to arches and canyonlands.

Simple and easy to find

This is a good spot for only $15. We found the area after dark but were able to find a spot without too many neighbors. Recommend a vehicle with high clearance ro reach farther back sites.

Nice spot outside of State College

Stayed during the winter so the park wasn't very busy but there was one other group of campers. The sites are tent only and pretty close together but some still feel secluded. Very accessible and the park has some good trails.

Nice views and nice and quiet

The campground is clean, has wonderful views and toilets. There are 12 sites and if you cannot find an established one here, there are many dispersed spots along the road. A drive up the mountain leads to a beautiful lookout area.

Accessible and hidden

Sites were very easy to access. You can hear cars passing on the nearby road but still better than having noisy neighbors and RVs. We got to the site around 10:30pm and there were no other campers around. Close to Bryce Canyon and Grand Staircase Escalante

great location

This was a really good spot right in between Moab and Arches with an awesome view. I didn't get to the site until 10pm and there was still 2 spots left. The only negative is that it is right off of a regularly trafficked road.

quiet and simple to find

Overall, this is a good spot to camp. It was simple to find, there was plenty of space for dispersed camping, and was a quiet place.
