Family of 8 living full time in our Keystone Passport transitioning from military life to traveling the US full time!

Our Favorite Resort Yet!!!

We have been camping for 3 years total and been full time for 2 years and this place is a blast!! They had food trucks come some nights which was fun and delicious.

Wonderful campground!

We stayed here for a season and loved it! The staff from the front desk to the front gate are incredibly friendly and welcoming!

Pros-

Front office is open late (9pm)

Offers wood, ice, fire starters, hoses and adapter cap for gray water drain.

Country Store

Ice Cream

Amazing views of the canal.

Bike path along the canal, easy access.

Lots of playgrounds for different ages

Bounce pad (in-ground)

Pool

Stair access to canal bike path.

Dump station

Inexpensive to have visitors\

Located near so much! Walmart, Market Basket, Target all within 15min.  

Cons-

No on site drainage for black water (grey takes an adapter). You will need a poop tote.

Lots of tight spaces

Anyone can pay to access canal, so they can access any campsite even without staying there. 

Highway noise.

BRIDGE TRAFFIC- if you know you know.

Spacious open sites!

Pros- Spacious(wide open) Quiet, only 5 spots. Close to the CGX and gas station on base. Military only Price is reasonable! Laundry in the hotel (5min away) Trails all over the place to walk and ride.

Cons- Military only TICKS are insane here! (cape cod in general) Stays cannot be more than 2 weeks. Only 2 small washer and dryers.

cons-

very secluded-get groceries before.

not much to do close by.

can get loud (we didn't mind)

ran out of golf carts to rent (expensive too)

Humble quiet campground with lots of fun events!

We have have spent many weekends here over the last few years and love it! We attended their Super Bowl event there, the crawfish bowl and many more. The personal are wonderful and have 0 issues with our sites or anything else there. 

Pros*

-Military discount offered

-Pet friendly 

-Seasonal and Non-Seasonal Spots

-Open all year round. 

-Best campground around.

-Quiet location off Knotts Island.

-Ferry Available into Camden, NC (fits out bus and 37ft TT).

-Beach access with wonderful views.

Cons*

Found broken glass on the beach a few times. It was cleaned up and no issues since.
