Good Verizon service, was able to work remote. Got pretty windy but it was nice on the hot days. Idk if I’d swim in the water. There was a pit toilet. Good view of the mountains. Agree with review below that it’s not a destination spot, but if you’re in the area I’d do a night

Do not follow maps directions to this spot. Click the one a little south east next to the river titled “Dispersed Site - Lolo National Forest Recreation Area”. This is the right location. Good spot.

Turn onto the road, once you reach end of that road, there’s more spots to the left. If you drive far enough you’ll find pit toilets. We had good service on Verizon and T-Mobile to work. River is beautiful. Would definitely come back

We loved this place! Only downside is it’s a bit far from anything like grocery stores or gas. Plenty of spots to camp - the first loop doesn’t have a pit toilet but the second and third loop do. Most spots had fire pits and tables. We swam in the water and it was nice. Rocky beach. Service was good for us to work remote. We have Verizon and T-Mobile.

Stayed here one night but definitely could have done more. Our spot was a pull out on the side of the road with an amazing view. There’s a bathroom at the entrance. Only maybe 6 spots before the road gets bad so pick one of those BEFORE you come to a fork in the road. If you go right on the fork the road gets bad. We had good service for Verizon and okay for T-Mobile. Spots are spread out so you have privacy. Pretty quiet area.

If you’re visiting the Badlands you gotta stay here! Plenty of spots mid July, the road is long so just keep driving until you find one you like. The road is gravel and our old van did it no problem. The views are beautiful. Spots are somewhat spread out but you can still see everyone, so not a lot of privacy during the day if you gotta pee outside, but we made it work. There aren’t any bathrooms, but the town of Wall isn’t far up the road. Short drive to get into the Pinnacles entrance of the badlands. Service was good for both Verizon and T-mobile.

Was looking for somewhere to stay the night after visiting the black hills, and so glad we picked this one. The water is absolutely beautiful. There’s two bathrooms on each side. The sites are spread out so you have privacy and a pretty sure each one had a metal fire pit (ours did). The first spot we picked (farther back) we couldn’t get service on our Verizon jet pack or t-mobile phones but we moved to one 3 spots away and had great service. The water is muddy close to the shore, so not perfect swimming conditions but you could. We saw some people swimming. Place wasn’t crowded mid July. There were bugs but nothing crazy. If I could handle them, you could too. I’d definitely come back!
