nice tall shade trees and beautiful access to the lake. trails are around and a large beach to relax on. sites are large and trees are close enough to hang a hammock. note: road to get here is entirely dirt; bring mosquito repellent
well maintained campground, quiet while we were there. keep warm clothes and rain gear as you are likely to get a bit of weather.
Quiet campground, wasn't too busy for 4th of July weekend. close to winthrop. cows are in the area, but the campground has cattle grates to keep them out. lake is pretty and kayakable, a few people out fishing. bring mosquito repellent. road is steep / dirt to campground, would not recommend for large rigs
a lot of sites are blocked off for tree dangers. stayed at A025 which is a large site due to being near a septic meter. bathrooms are clean, water is easily accessible. very busy campground will visitors during the day and especially on weekend. trails are crowed.
