Really beautiful scenery. Love the lake with plenty of fishing and kayaking/boating. Camp sites are diverse and interesting and well kept. Most are smaller and very few accommodate a big rig. The lake is VERY popular so during the day especially it is very busy. Night time was quiet and great for looking at stars. Would recommend.

The road up can be a bit challenging, especially for novice offroaders, but it's doable. The lake is beautiful but can be very windy. Great place to stay if you have the right vehicle and gear but not many spots. Be sure not to damage the shoreline, alpine plants, or lake!
