Fisherman’s dream

I opted for a tent spot it cost around $20 that includes electric and water garbage cans were available at the site. Fire pits are there and picnic table. I was told just to go scavenge whatever you want from the woods to burn just don’t cut down any trees. There’s a bathroom with sink and toilet these are open to public so a little rough. They have a shelter building if you needed to have a party there to entertain multiple people. Great fishing is just a walk away they rent boats if you would like there is a boat ramp if you bring your own boat.

DeSoto primitive tent spot

Upon pulling into the office area to get my tent spot. The nice woman at the counter was very nice and informative and good with explaining exactly how to get where I needed to go what I can do and any questions I had.She explained that the primitive Campground do have a bathroom/outhouse but you had to use a special code to get into the other part of the campground if you wanted to use the showers which were available to me. There is really so many things to do at this campground! they have a pool. you can swim in the river a gorgeous waterfalls rent kayaks and also a zip line adventure. Need I forget the multiple miles of hiking and mountain bike trails. Our camping spot was pretty quiet for the most part later on things started getting a little more lively but ended at a nice time to get some decent sleep throughout the night. I brought my dogs and everybody around us and that I met were more than happy to have them there I didn’t feel as if they were a nuisance by no means. I’m sure I left some stuff out you should do some research on your own definitely will be going back. PS the video may not be the best my first one I am going to work on it

No tents allowed

We pulled up here to Little River RV Park and Campground only to find a sign as we enter the premises stating that they no longer allow tent camping. Due to no body at the office or answering the supplied number could not talk anybody to talk to about this. ( Update ) I got ahold of someone and they informed me that because of the Corona virus they are not allowing tent campers because they are messy. Stating that they don’t clean up after themselves in the shower facilities. Not sure what this has to do with corona? being they let any other form of camping. And I’m sure not just tent campers use the wash house.

Quiet camping and fishing

No bells and whistles just a general spot to set up camp. Grass is mowed and all in all well kept. Water hookups and 220 30amp power and plenty of trash cans. No picnic tables or designated fire/grilling rings so bring your chairs and grill. Close to the Tennessee River and local revisor for fishing boat ramp just up the road. Spots are next to woods and under trees so shade for most the day and fire wood can be found.i brought my 3 German Shepherds and nobody had any issues.
