One of the best

We really enjoyed our stay at this campground. Pros: Campsite was quite, fairly private, and had a decent water view. Bathhouse was nearby and clean. Plenty of activities to do like biking, fishing, kayaking/paddle boarding, and relaxing at the beach. Cell phone service was good. Cons: lots of bugs. Our campsite was a bit tight when backing in…we have a 30 ft TT and had some trouble fitting it around some trees. As mentioned in other reviews, water view is mostly obstructed by mangroves, and not allowed to swim in it. Beach was a bit far from campground. We attempted to rent a paddle board to use on the beach but it was not allowed. Some of the staff at the beach side shops were rude…we experienced this on a few occasions.

Overall, really enjoyed our visit.

Great campground !

First time camping at this location and we loved it. Wide level sites with good privacy. Bath house was nearby, which was fairly clean and good water pressure. We were expecting to deal with the pesky mosquitoes, but didn’t notice them at all. The dump stations were clean and they even provide disposable gloves. The only cons are cell phone service was weak and it’s a long trek to the beach. Overall, great place to go camping…really close to everything.

Nice park!

Stayed for a weekend. Easy check-in and friendly staff. As mentioned in other reviews, some campsites are pretty narrow and tight. We also had to deal with soft sand. Otherwise a very nice place overall.

Spacious and clean

We enjoyed our stay here. Very pleased with our campsite…it was a huge corner lot with pavers. We only stayed for 2 nights and it rained for the first couple of days. The website advertises fishing but when I asked the front desk about it they said the only fishing spot was a tiny pond in the back. The staff was friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean.

Very relaxing

Super friendly staff. The moment we checked in they greeted us with a complimentary beer. Our site had a great view of the lagoon. We spent most of the time fishing and relaxing. Very nice place to stay. The bait shop pretty much has everything you need and everything is clean and well maintained.

Pretty nice

Stayed for a weekend. Thought it was a nice park, clean and spacious campsite. Had good water, electric and sewage connections. My main complaint is we could definitely hear and see vehicle traffic coming from a nearby roadway, but once you get passed that, it’s a nice place. Staff was friendly.

Beautiful ocean view

We were very fortunate to find this campsite on the Friday before Labor Day. You basically share a lot with your next door neighbors, but lucky they were very nice. The ocean view was spectacular and hearing the waves crash as you sleep was so relaxing. The facilities were clean and we were impressed that they loaned us a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter for free when we checked in after hours…we ended up buy it. Loved this place and will come back again.

First time camping

We recently bought a travel trailer and decided to camp somewhere close to home for our first experience. Moss park was the perfect place to get acquainted with our new toy. Not too busy, all the amenities we needed, site was fairly leveled, plenty of room, friendly staff, and close encounters with wildlife…specifically deers walking right up to us. Bathroom showers were a bit dirty, but the rest of the bathrooms were clean. Will definitely return. No pets allowed.
