We love this place, they let us stay near two months when Covid hit cause we had no where else we could go… the spots are not far from the water and fishing areas but the fishing is good here. Spots are big with lots of trees. One of top TT locations.
Ok so this place was just beautiful all around. It is close enough to town to get in and see some places near…. but far enough out that you have some quiet time. Sites were fair and the bath house near us was shut down. Next bathroom was to far to walk to but we made do. Overall great visual and be sure to go up to the town of Blowing Rock… really nice place. Terrible cell service so be prepared to dish out $8 a day for internet….
This place was large but we really struggled finding a place to stay once we got in the park, cars were parking so close to road it was hard to pull our rig through some areas. Concrete always also caving in leaving ditches that dropped off several feet… I would not stay here again unless I only wanted to use the sit to get in and out of Greenville. Nearly every good site by the amenities and playgrounds in this place was taken by annuals… If you are headed to Greenville visit the the Parks Fall on the Reedy, and the Greenville Zoo…
We loved this place, a little off the heating path but well worth it. You must check out the nature bridge nearby as well as the Houston jail. Sites were large and bathrooms were very clean. Cell service is spotty so either have a mobile data setup or by the local connection for your stay.
I thought the natural appearance was nice, it was clean but rustic. I really liked the large and wide sites, made getting in and out very easy. Hiking trails and paths were nice, but if you want to see the waterfalls they are seasonal so check before you go ….
